تصدّر فيلم المخرج كريستوفر نولان Oppenheimer "أوبنهايمر"، قائمة ترشيحات جوائز الأكاديمية البريطانية للأفلام "بافتا" للعام 2024 بـ13 ترشيحاً، بعد تحقيقه نجاحات عالمية في جميع المهرجانات. يليه فيلم Poor Things بـ11 ترشيحاً، ومن ثَم فيلم Killers of the Flower Moon، وفيلم The Zone Of Interest بـ9 ترشيحات لكل منهما.
وكشفت إدارة مهرجان "بافتا"، التي تكرّم أفضل الأعمال على الشاشة الكبيرة خلال الـ12 شهراً المنصرمة، عن قائمة الترشيحات للدورة 77 من المهرجان والتي ستقام في 18 شباط/ فبراير المقبل، في مركز ساوثبانك في لندن.
